• Conservation of biodiversity progress always seems insignificant and slow. The partly informed may not realise many priority projects are non-controversial. Working alone to build understanding and enthusiasm can also fuel frustration.
• Through this group there is ample opportunity to become involved in a wide variety of community biodiversity projects that can actually make a significant difference.
• Awkward politics is dealt with… our projects are ready to go. Walk into well structured non-controversial "bite size" projects where you can get really significant things done with little risk
• Anything worthwhile requires detailed and resource expensive and risky planning…. This way planning is ready for your perusal.
• Certainly community leadership and intelligent workers always attract government resources. But this way we also ensure success because the community can achieve much the government cannot.
• Join your knowledge with years of broad studies into many different biodiversity management technologies. Prior study means all can be communicated much faster and easier.
• Feed your "heart and soul" by learning how to identify, optimise, discuss clearly and implement non-controversial biodiversity management actions.
• Attend irregular meetings or none at all. Or just work away with your friends.
• Join with our outings to suit many interests. Activities vary from tough botanical excursions to top priority airconditioned seated activity. Activities can be twice weekly others rare
• Use the group's superb propagation facilities.
• The Group's seed bank is available, some is in excellent condition.
• Reference books can be used on the premises.
• Receive regular new information that targets priority actions.
• Share knowledge with various project management teams to both protect and learn more about conservation of biodiversity.
